Have you ever looked at PhotoShop Elements? It is the consumer level of PhotoShop. A while back I picked it up for my husband and he likes it a lot. It seems to have a lot of the firepower of earlier editions of PhotoShop. It costs about $85 on Amazon; for about $50 more you can get Premiere Elements for editing movies. If I had a Squink running around, I'd probably be turning moving pictures of him into MOVIES! ;-)

What I meant is that for about $50 more you get P/S Elements AND Premiere Elements, which I think is a heckuva deal.

As an educator I have access to purchasing creative suite for $500 so I am saving up for it. But, I may have to go for elements.

Creative Suite for $500 sounds like a pretty good deal to me! Does that include Flash? •salivating•

yes though it is now $400 dos not include flash but I can buy that for $250. Actually, I just looked at the guidelines and you may qualify for that pricing as a college student...
must be, I got a q.
